XXVII edition of Welconomy Forum in Toruń ended !

On 14th September at Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center there were two Plenary Sessions and a few discussion panels.

The guests were welcomed by bishop Ph.D. Wiesław Śmigiel, the Voivod of Kujawsko-Pomorskie – Mikołaj Bogdanowicz, the Marshal of The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship – Piotr Całbecki, the President of Toruń Michał Zaleski and the President of the Curriculum Committee of “Integration and Cooperation” Association- Ph.D.Jacek Janiszewski

The below mentioned awards and honorable mentions were handed:

Professor Stefan Meller’s award , which was founded by both Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and “Integration and Cooperation” Association were handed by professor Andrzej Sokala – the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, professor Andrzej Tretyn – the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń from 2012 till 2020 and Ph.D. Jacek Janiszewski - the President of the Curriculum Committee of Integration and Cooperation Association        ,    

There was one main award and two honorable mentions in that knowledge domain: .

The second honorable mention was given to the team of students of IIIrd year  of Media studies at Philosophy and Social Studies Department at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń; Jagoda Sycz, Agata Chylewska.

The first honorable mention was given to the graduate student of IVth year of Material Chemistry, at Chemistry Department at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the cofounder of OPTI – GRAF start-up : Piotr Kamedulski.  

The main award laureate became the team of  students of IIIrd year of Journalism and Social Communication at the Philosophy and Social Studies Department at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń -  cofounders of Pet Team start-up: Weronika Topolska, Michalina Insadowska and Patrycja Taica Frias.

The Ambassador of Welconomy in “Safe and Ecological Vacation” domain.

For over last ten years ”Integration and Cooperation” Association has been organizing the Action called “Safe and Ecological Vacation.” It is performedfor children, youthin the whole country during the summertime  holidays. We have been trying to teach young people how to keep safe and how to prevent them from numerous dangerous accidents. Many companies and institutions have been coorganizing our action.  At that very difficult time the company Ghelamco Poland became such a Partner you could always count on and that is why we decided to award it. Stowarzyszenie Integracja i Współpraca od ponad dekady w czasie letniego wypoczynku dzieci i młodzieży organizuje na terenie całej Polski akcję Bezpieczne i Ekologiczne Wakacje, ucząc bezpiecznych zachowań, zapobiegając w ten sposób wielu niebezpiecznym wypadkom. W minionych latach wspólnie z nami współorganizowało akcję   wiele firm i instytucji. W tym szczególnie trudnym czasie wyróżniona została firma  Ghelamco Poland.

The award was given to Jarosław Zagórski - Commercial & Development Director of  Ghelamco Poland.

The Ambassador of the Polish Economy Award

That award was handed to the person  who had introduced modern management methods and followed the rules of integration and cooperation. It was given to a distinguished manager- the President of Syngenta – Marek Łuczak.

Syngenta is one of the leading companies supporting farmers with innovative technologies and solutions. The excellent quality of its products and its rapid development placed it among the leading producers of both plants’ and seeds’ pesticides.  The huge knowledge and longstanding experience effects in high consultancy values offered to the Polish farmers.

That award was handed to two people for supporting the ideas of integration and cooperation.

The first person who became awarded was the Polish journalist, politician, the self-government member, the numerous member of Parliament and Senate - Kosma Złotowski, who is currently the European Parliament member.

The second one was given to the Polish politician, clerk, the former Minister of Justice and the General  Public Prosecutor. From 2013 till 2019 he was the President of the Highest Control Chamber. He was also the numerous member of Parliament and Senate.. He is currently the President of the Senate Legislative Commission and the member of the National Court Chamber- Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.

The special award was given due to ”Covid” Welconomy edition. The diploma for the most  efficient execution of the supportive programme for the Polish companies as the part of the Anticrisis Shield. It was handed to Paweł Borys – the President of the Polish Development Fund.

The Emerald Welconomy Award

That award was given for the third time within 27 years of Welconomy. We connotate this stone and its colour with hope that is always needed. That award was given to the person who with his/her  perspective activities gave hope for our country development. Michał Zaleski- The President of Toruń became the laureate of that year’s edition.   .
